Waffles can be healthy and taste delicious! The waffles are light and crispy with a delicately nutty flavour. We love serving them with chopped fruit and vanilla yoghurt.
Tip: Leftover waffles can be reheated in a toaster.
Ingredients
160g (1 cup) Lovegrass Teff Pancake & Waffle Mix
270ml (just over 1 cup) milk or plant alternative
50ml (4 tbsp.) vegetable oil or melted butter

Step 1
Take 160g (1 cup) of the Lovegrass Pancake & Waffle Mix.

Tip into a bowl, add 270ml (just over 1 cup) of milk or plant alternative and 50ml (4 tbsp.) of your choice of fat.

Stir the mix to combine into a smooth batter and leave to rest for 3 minutes. The batter will thicken to the required consistency during this time.

Preheat your waffle iron according to instructions.

Pour mix onto hot iron and cook until golden brown.
